Ssese Islands are an archipelago of 84 islands in the North Western part of Lake Victoria in the Ugandan side. Some of these islands are very large in side, like Bugala and Bukasa. Others are little and without human population. Lutoboka bay in Bugala Island is becoming an attracting site for visitors and tourists, in search for a very quiet and relaxing place to enjoy sunbath and swimming in the uncontaminated water. Ssese islands are also well known fortheir untouched tropical rain forests and birds. It is a very nice opportunity to practice sport fishing, to hire a boat and move around or to hire a bicycle to explore the interior of Bugala, the main Island and busy some times during the peak season.


Day One: After breakfast, tour the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre that will take about 2 -3 hours. This will be an introduction to the wildlife of Uganda. Have an early lunch and proceed to Nakiwogo Landing site for a ship to Kalangala, Ssese Islands that departs at 2pm and landing at Lutoboka at 5 or 6 pm. Dinner and overnight at Ssese Islands Beach Hotel.


Day Two: Get up early for breakfast and take a boat trip to see some of the sister Islands and landing sites. Return to Ssese Islands Beach Hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day Three: An early morning forest walk in search of Birds, butterflies and some primates are plentiful. You will be able to tour some caves too. Relax at the beach in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Ssese Islands Beach Hotel.


Day Four: After breakfast, leave the Islands through Bukakata and Bugoma Landing sites. Proceed to Kampala via Nyendo, Masaka. En route see Lake Nabugabo, papyrus and the Uganda equator.
